Primeramente quiero agradecer al equipo de Ohh My Gaga! por pensar en mi para entrevistarme, lo aprecio un montón. Yo, Sergio. Un chico de 21 años de México. Estoy estudiando Actuaría en la universidad. Me gusta la música pop y sobretodo Lady Gaga.
First of all I would like to thank the Ohh My Gaga! Staff for considering taking the time to interview me, I appreciate it a lot. I’m Sergio, and I’m a 21 year-old guy from Mexico. I’m currently in college, studying actuarial science. I enjoy a little bit of pop music, essentially Lady Gaga.
Tienes muchos seguidores. ¿A qué cree que se debe?
You have many followers. Why do you think it is?
Lady Gaga Facts:
Empecé mi cuenta en 2011, y en pocos meses Gaga ya me estaba siguiendo y me tuiteó varias veces. También en 2012 yo y otro fan (@hausoframez) solíamos poner en tendencia cosas sobre Gaga diariamente. Otra cosa que me hizo conocido en el fandom fue cuando Gaga me bloqueó y habló de mi porque encontró que alguno de mis tweets eran ofensivos.
I started this account in 2011, and within a few months Gaga had already followed and tweeted me some times, that plus the fact that me and another fan (@hausoframez) would trend Gaga-related stuff nearly every day in 2012. I think another reason that made me quite known amongst monsters was when Gaga blocked me and called me out on some of my tweets that she found offensive.
¿Qué es lo que más aprecia de Lady Gaga? ¿Y algo que no le guste de ella?
What do you appreciate the most about Lady Gaga? Is there anything you dislike about her?
Lady Gaga Facts:
Lo que más aprecio de ella es su habilidad para mantenerse tal y como es ella misma y sus creencia, cómo se las arregla con su poder como celebridad para hablar de política, cultura y otros sucesos sociales.
He estado pensando en algo que no me guste de ella, pero me he dado cuenta de que me gusta casi todo: su música, su personalidad, su creatividad, su pasión. Quizás lo que menos me gusta es el tiempo que se está tomando para sacar nueva música.
The thing I appreciate about her the most, is her ability to stay true to herself and her beliefs, how she manages to ingrain her star power into political, cultural and social issues.
I tried to think of something that I didn’t like about her, but I couldn’t come to terms with myself because I love her music, I love her personality, her creativity, her passion. I believe the only thing I’m currently not being much fond of, is how much time she’s taking to release new music!

All of the interactions I’ve had with her, while they have been many, sadly have been only on Twitter. Being a Mexican fan, it’s much difficult to get to meet her or have some direct contact with her aside concerts.
También se lleva muy bien con Lady Gaga Now. ¿Cuál es su trato con ellos? ¿Conoce alguno en persona?
You also get along very well with “Lady Gaga Now”. What is your relationship with them? Do you know any of them personally ?

Aprecio muchísimo su trabajo. Sé que trabajan muy duro para aportar a la comunidad de Monsters las ultimas noticias, y fotos y si no fuera por ellos, muchos de nosotros no estaríamos tan informados sobre Gaga como lo estamos ahora. No conozco a ninguno en persona, pero me encantaría.
I’m appreciative and a supporter of their work. I know how hard they work to bring all of the monster-community the latest news and photos and many of us wouldn’t be as informed on Gaga as we are, if it wasn’t for them. I don’t happen to know any of them personally, but I would definitely love to meet them!
Los Little Monsters estamos muy nerviosos por LG5. ¿Cuándo cree que tendremos el álbum en nuestras manos?
Little Monsters are very excited for LG5. When do you think we will have the album in our hands?

Todos repetimos que Gaga sacaría un álbum en 2016 y entiendo que los Monsters quieran su música los más temprano posible, han pasado ya más de 1000 días desde el lanzamiento de ARTPOP!!! Ha estado trabajando en muchos proyectos mientras trabaja en su próximo álbum pop, así que yo creo que podría llegar para finales de otoño.
We all recall Gaga said she would put out an album in 2016, and I understand monsters want the album as soon as possible, it have been almost 1000 days since she released ARTPOP!!! She’s working on many projects besides the upcoming pop album, however she’s been working on it for a while now, so I believe a release in late autumn would be possible.
¿Y el single? ¿Cuándo cree que podremos escuchar nueva música?
What about the single? When do you think she will be releasing new music?
Lady Gaga Facts:
Los singles casi siempre llegan antes del álbum, así que si el álbum llega a finales de otoño (nov/dic) el single estaría para sept/oct.
Singles usually come a few months before the album, so if she happens to release it late in autumn (November – December), she should release the single by September-October.
¿Cómo cree que será el sonido de LG5?
How do you think is going to sound LG5?
Lady Gaga Facts:
Creo que el álbum será rock/funk y con una producción y un sonido mucho mas orgánico, por lo menos eso es por lo que se le conoce a Mark Ronson.
I think the record will be inffluenced by rock/funk music, and I think it will have a more organic production and sound, because that’s what Mark Ronson is known for.

¿Qué le han parecido las declaraciones de hace unos días de RedOne sobre el nuevo álbum?
What do you think about RedOne last statements about the album?
Lady Gaga Facts:
Personalmente, estoy contento sobre lo que dijo. Entiendo que los Monsters quieran un súper hit como Bad Romance o Poker Face, pero estos Monsters que piensan así no se dan cuenta que la mente detrás de la canción es Gaga y no RedOne. RedOne no hubiera ganado Grammys o logrado #1s sin Gaga. Eso sí, sin tener en cuenta los charts, creo que ella debería evolucionar tanto musicalmente como artísticamente, y eso sería difícil si sigue con RedOne como sus fans quieren. Estoy seguro que los otros productores nos darán lo mejor de ella.
Personally, I was happy about them. I understand Monsters want a new smash hit like Bad Romance or Poker Face, which were produced by RedOne, but they think Gaga works best with RedOne without realizing it is Gaga who does the most song-wirting, and that it is RedOne who hasn’t won Grammys or scoring #1s without Gaga. Charts and awards aside, I believe she should be allowed to evolve musically and artistically, and that will be much harder if she sticks only with RedOne just like fans want her to. I’m sure the other producers will bring out the best of her.
¿Cree que ha habido problemas entre Lady Gaga y él? ¿Habrá sido retirado del disco?
Do you think that they might have bad blood? Could he has been kicked from the album?
Lady Gaga Facts:
No creo que hayan tenido ningún problema, RedOne dijo que había hecho muchas canciones y que incluso se habían escogido los singles, así que fue completamente la opinión de Gaga la que decidió que no se lanzaran. Creo que se tomó un tiempo más con los otros productores para buscar un nuevo y mejor sonido, y por eso está trabajando con Mark Ronson tanto. También creo que RedOne estará en el álbum, pero solo con un par de canciones.
I don’t think they’ve had any problems, RedOne said they made many songs and that even a lead single was chosen, so it was obviously Gaga’s decision not to release it. I believe she took the time to work with other producers and is seeking for a new sound, this is why she’s been working with Mark Ronson so much. I also think a songs by RedOne will make the final cut and eventually be on the album, but only a couple of them.

Who do you prefer? Mark Ronson or RedOne??

Conozco el sonido de Gaga con RedOne, el sonido que buscan y la familiaridad que comparten sus producciones. También sé que Mark Ronson trabajó en lo que yo considero de los mejores álbumes, Back to Black de Amy Winehouse, y que también ha trabajado en los álbumes de Adele y Bruno Mars. Su trabajo es excelente. RedOne, por otro lado, no me convence su trabajo sin Gaga. Así que prefiero a Mark.
I know Gaga’s work with RedOne, the sound they seek, and the familiar production their collaborations share. I also known Mark Ronson’s work, he was a significant producer on one of my favorite records – Back To Black by Amy Winehouse, he’s also worked on Adele’s and Bruno Mars’ albums. His work is great. RedOne on the other hand, his work without Gaga, I think is not that great. So I would have to say Mark.
¿Qué cree que le puede aportar de nuevo Mark Ronson a Lady Gaga?
What do you think Mark Ronson could contribute to Lady Gaga?
Lady Gaga Facts:
El último álbum pop de Gaga, en el cual si incluyó algún que otro instrumento, estaba lleno de sonidos electrónicos. Creo que Mark cambiará esta dirección y aportará de nuevo los instrumentos como tales, como dije antes, un sonido más orgánico. La voz de Gaga probablemente sea más pulida, como nunca antes. Eso añadido al sonido de Mark Ronson, creará algo completamente distinto a lo que hemos escuchado hasta ahora.
Gaga’s last pop album, while it did include some instruments, it was mostly full of electronic sounds. I think Mark will change this direction, and will bring back the actual instruments, as I said before, a more organic sound. Gaga’s voice is probably the most-polished it has been in her career, that added to the new sound Mark Ronson will bring to this record will make it something completely different to everything we’ve listened to so far.
También tendremos este año un nuevo álbum de jazz junto a Tony Bennett ¿Qué le parece la noticia?
We are also having a new Jazz album with Tony Bennett this year. What are your thoughts about it?
Lady Gaga Facts:
Gaga ha demostrado que puede hacer de todo. Cheek To Cheek ha terminado siendo todo un éxito, y aunque quizás no ha vendido 8M como Born This Way, ha abierto a Gaga una puerta a más audiencia que jamás nunca se había interesado en ella. No me importaría que sacara otro álbum de jazz, pero espero que no afecte al álbum pop.
Gaga has proved several times that she can multitask. Cheek To Cheek also proved to be a success, it may have not sold the 8 million copies Born This Way did, but it certainly opened the door for Gaga to many audiences that perhaps had never showed interest in her before. I wouldn’t mind another jazz album, but I do hope it’s delayed a little until Gaga’s pop album cycle is over.
Lady Gaga regresará a American Horror Story en su sexta temporada. ¿Tiene ganas de volver a verla en la serie? ¿Qué personaje le pega interpretar ahora?
Lady Gaga will be back to AHS for its sixth season. Are you excited about watching her in the TV show again? Which character do you think she should play this time?
Lady Gaga Facts:
¡Por supuesto que me encantaría que volviera a AHS! La última temporada hizo de villana, así que esta vez me gustaría algo más contrastante. ¿Quizás una heroína?
Of course I would love to see her on the show again! Last season she played a villain, so I would love for her to play something contrasting. Maybe a hero this time?
¿Qué le pareció "La Condesa"?
What are your thoughts about “The Countess”?
Lady Gaga Facts:
Gaga encaja perfectamente en esta serie y su rol en ella es perfecto. Desde sus increíbles modelitos hasta la impresionante mujer que La Condesa era. Me encantó el personaje y creo que es una justa reemplazante para Jessica Lange. También era la primera vez que presenciábamos cómo era Gaga actuando al completo. Me encantó la historia del personaje y cómo ella lo interpretó con tanta dedicación y emoción.
Gaga fits amazingly on this show, and this role was perfect from her. From the high fashion to the reckless, outrageous woman that The Countess was, I loved this role and I think I could effectively make up for Jessica Lange leaving. It was also the very first time we would have the chance to witness Gaga’s acting abilities in full, since it was her first main role. I loved the storyline character and how Gaga played it so dedicatedly and emotionally.

Lady Gaga tiene muchos proyectos para esta segunda mitad de año (álbum pop, álbum jazz, AHS) ¿Tendrá tiempo para todo? ¿Estar trabajando al mismo tiempo en otras cosas podría tener algún efecto negativo en LG5?
Lady Gaga is involved in so many projects for the next six months (pop album, Jazz album, AHS) Will she have time for everything? Working in that many projects at the same time, do you think that that could affect negatively to LG5?
Lady Gaga Facts:
Todos estos proyectos requieren dedicación, tiempo de producción, composición, grabación de las canciones, grabación de las escenas, promoción; pero creo que el único problema sería que Gaga se viera sobre-explotada con el trabajo y que no quiera promocionar sus singles por eso. Espero que su papel en AHS sea más pequeño y que se concentre en la música.
All of these projects require time and dedication – time to produce/compose/record the songs for the albums, time to film the scenes for AHS, time to promote the singles and albums, and I believe that is the only negative effect it would have. Gaga might be overworked and not promote music or deliver on the show effectively because of this. I hope she stars in a small role this time on Horror Story so her main focus can be music.
Imaginemos que estamos en diciembre del 2016. ¿Qué cree que habrá pasado hasta esa fecha con Lady Gaga? ¿Cómo se imagina estos meses que están por venir?

¡Espero que ya haya sacado su álbum entonces! Por lo menos nueva música, ya sea por la unión a Tony o por su nuevo álbum pop. AHS ya se estará emitiendo y como en todo álbum, estará actuando y atendiendo a entrevistas, videos, y espero que un tour mundial. ¡Espero que Gaga esté por todas partes en los próximos meses!
I hope she has released the album by then! She definitely at least will have released new music, either from the joint album with Tony or from her new pop record. AHS will have also aired and just as with every album, she will have a whole lot of new performances, interviews, videos, and hopefully a worldwide tour. Here’s to hoping there’s a lot of Gaga these upcoming months!
